A house with its history
From the horse station to the Faulenzerhotel ...
For more than 100 years the house has been in the possession of family Schweighofer and is meanwhile led by the fourth generation. The hotel used to be a horse station with an attached post office and thus a central place in Friedersbach.
1923
There is first construction work and the front side of the house is extended.
1962/63
In those years the already well-known inn is extended by a big hall, bowling alleys and a few guestrooms in further construction work.
1978
Another 8 guestrooms are added and in 1982 further rooms, the restaurant and a lido are built.
1991
In this year the inn becomes a luxurious 4-star hotel with 45 rooms and altogether 90 beds. We welcome individual guests, exacting seminar guests and groups and provide them with a sauna, steam bath, leisure facilities, 4 seminar rooms for 10 to 60 people, 6 different restaurant rooms with a total of 250 seats and a shady dining garden.
2002
16 rooms are completely renovated and equipped with state-of-the-art technology (internet access, W-LAN).
May 26, 2010
